Safeguarding and Compliance

Safeguarding and safer recruitment

Safeguarding is central to education recruitment. Keystage Education follows its approved safer-recruitment and compliance procedures when assessing candidates and supporting schools.

Workers are only confirmed for bookings once the required internal clearance process has been completed.

Identity and Right to Work

Checks are completed through the appropriate approved process.

Employment History and References

Work history, relevant gaps and professional references are reviewed as part of the process.

Qualifications and Professional Status

Role-relevant qualifications and professional status are checked through approved procedures.

Safeguarding and Suitability

Candidates are assessed against safeguarding expectations, professional boundaries and the requirements of the role.

Data Protection

Personal information is handled for appropriate purposes using approved systems and processes.

Exact checks depend on the role, setting, current requirements and company procedures. A DBS certificate alone does not represent complete clearance.
